This is my first time renting at an appartment complex and I’m so disappointed with this one… I’d give it no stars if I could. I firstly want to mention the residents who live here are rude and will do anything to get people in trouble just because they feel like it. From the moment I moved in I’ve been harassed, accused of things I didn’t do, and just overall never felt safe. It’s to the point where I fear even walking outside the building sometimes. My car got vandalized by some kids who wrote on it for me to off myself and scratched it with a key(I’ll leave proof). I took this to the office and all they told me was “we can’t do anything” next someone who we don’t know was trying to get into our unit and when I stressed this what happen? Nothing… they completely ignored me. Then we get the office constantly messaging us about people complaining about our dog being outside barking at people when it’s not even our dog(I’ll leave video proof below). They don’t care about you or your safety and it’s quite sad, they only seem to care when it makes them a buck in their pocket. This place is a scam and I should’ve seen that sooner. Its frustrating that the entire year and a half my partner and I been living here people have been attacking and blaming us for what? Just cause we are a younger couple? Why is it when I stress a concern or report something it gets blown off or ignored like it doesn’t matter? You want people to feel safe and welcome here? Then treat us like it. DO NOT MOVE HERE! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, SAFETY, OR COMFORT! 😭

Maintenance is awesome! They arrive quickly and ensure you’re pleased with thier work. Willow Cove overall is comfortable, a very safe community with considerate neighbors. Spacious outdoor areas between each building for dogs to walk and one larger grassy area you can run with you pup (on a bungee leash!). The accounting is always precise down to the penny, you know what you will be paying and it’s always accurate. I made an overpayment of approx $1,800 when transferring from a 2bed to a 1 bed and there were quite a few calculations that went into my credit amount. They actually came to a credit for $5 more than I calculated! The renovated apartments are not FULL renovations. The tub is still the late 80s style with a sort of plastic that goes up the wall where you typically see a porcelain tub and tile up the walls for quite some time now. All the appliances are name brand and I’ve found that very nice that they are all almost new or new and function perfectly! Our AC broke in mid summer, the compressor had to be replaced! It was replaced and blowing beautifully cold the NEXT day! Occasionally the tub will drain slowly but maintenance comes right back out and fixes it. That would be my only actual downside, the bathtub plumbing tends to back up and over the years the drain grate has become just stuck in the tub, but the work around are fine. I stayed in a 2bed/2bath with a friend and the shower in that unit was recently done, roomy shower. But the 1bath units both were older tub style. I would say if you’re looking for a place that you feel comfortable and even if you only lease for a year if you’re looking for something more modern, Willow Cove is a good choice. Pet friendly, kid friendly! Awesome maintenance work and FAST response time! Oh! Rent is due on the 1st, however you are given a 5 day grace period so it’s not “late” until I believe 5:00 or 6:00 pm on the 5th. Just be sure not to be late, especially if you are given a concession lowering your monthly rent amount. The buildings are 3 stories and stairs only so if you are not able to physically view the unit you plan to rent, just keep that in mind. (I moved from Miami and easily got everything signed and ready before I flew up. They even gave my friend the apartment key, per my request, she just had to show her ID. I was able to get off the plane with my dog in an airline approved crate, take an uber pet to Willow Cove and my friend had some things I sent before me all ready in my apartment! My rent did not increase when I renewed my lease for the 2nd year in this unit.

Lived there for little under a year. DO NOT WASTE YOURE TIME, Money, or sanity. Every things seems great in the beginning, but they are a horrible company. Not only do they lie about the actual rent amount, and what use the money for… they also do not care about anything but milking you for money in anyway possible. When I first moved in it was in a deal, but after the “promotion” it was nothing that was promised in the lease When I asked them about the prices they came up with any excuses they could to get more out of me. Secondly the apartment was “newly renovated.” However it was the definition of the landlord special. Things did not work (such as outlets in my kitchen, and missing a screen on my windows… that I reported when I moved in and wasn’t fixed until I broke my lease and showed the multiple times I requested they be repaired). Next I had to file many complaints against neighbors who constantly broke rules and regulations in the lease, but never heard anything back; and that was from Emil, calls, and even in person conversations with the leasing office. I wasn’t going to leave a bad review, until I was given a bill from the electric company for an over due bill. I got married and broke my lease 3 months early; followed their protocol and they told me the money they kept from the deposit would be used to pay for damages, the last electric bill, and last water bill. Well clearly that did not happen as now I am fighting with the electric company for a bill in collections for “non payment” a month AFTER my lease end date. Nothing but scam lords.

Don't live here. Every time it rains the patio gets flooded and I personally have to clean the gutters. Even when they fix things that they say they do, they do the don't do it right the first or even the second time. I have spent my own personal money on fixing things the correct way. I will post pictures of their gutters including one that I just had to clean to get it draining, but yet they said they cleaned them recently. I'm 3 stories above the ground doing this cleaning on the gutters that I can get to. The second floor landing is literally bowed and caving in, the soap holder in my shower has come off, they came and fixed it, and it came off and hit my 2 year old while she was in the bath. They came and said they fixed it again, but it came off the wall for the third time because they hot glued it to the shower wall and added a big glob of caulking in the middle to secure it.
