Update:
After telling the management office about all issues Iâve been experiencing, maintenance has been by once and they were in my apartment for 5 minutes maximum. I have a home security camera and just happened to be on my break and watched them. They turned on the sink a few times said they hear nothing and Iâm crazy and left. The issue is most likely the shower or washer from my upstairs neighbor, it sounds like itâs raining inside.
I constantly have to deal with children screaming non-stop outside of my window at all hours (mainly because the parents are not in sight), my upstairs neighbors have an infant child, large dog who howls all day non-stop and when they do get home itâs constant STOMPING for atleast 2 hours.
Anytime I call the office they unapologetically dismiss me say theyâll âgive them a callâ and absolutely nothing happens. Typically they just hope they can run out the clock to go home before I call back to see whatâs going on.
Kelton is the ONLY ONE who actually listens to any concerns or questions. He seems to truly enjoy his job, remember residents names, while every one else (including the management staff) just seems to be annoyed with your presence and will dismiss you as quickly as possible regardless of how serious your issue is.
On top of this, they contiously jack up the price of your rent anytime your lease is up. They also give you your renewal/notice to vacate if you donât renew about 3 days before IF YOUâRE LUCKY.
Technically (and in their contract) they are supposed to give you this 30 days prior, but donât try to fight it because last time I did they threatened to evict me because I didnât know they wanted to up my rent $80/month and left a paper on my door the day before my lease was up.
Basically, stay on top of when your lease is up.
Call them non stop to see if they are changing your rates if you want to renew.
Donât expect your neighbors to be remotely decent, and certainly donât expect the leasing office to do anything.
If you have an issue, you can either chance dealing with your sketchy neighbors who sit out in their cars at all hours, hot box their apartments, and scream at their children OR just deal with it because youâre locked into this lease.
If youâre lucky youâll get Kelton and something will get done.
Iâve been here for over a year and the neighbors continuously cycling in and out are just awful.
Management for the most part, minus one person, is unwilling to help.
My downstairs neighbors have 4+ people living in a 1 bedroom apartment, while the neighbors BEHIND me constantly play music and causes the adjoining wall to shake and all I hear is bass for hours on end.
The cops have been here due to disputes with the current neighbors at least 3 times, they have been here for about 3 months.
Iâm stuck here with neighbors they keep signing and donât care about their current residents who donât cause any problems with the law.
Iâve talked to the staff many times and Iâm just told they would send an âinfractionâ, the issue is still a daily thing.
I wouldnât recommend moving here, Iâve been charged many times for online services when I walk in and hand them a check monthly.
Then they leave me a note daily to tell me about these charges, when I donât use the service.
The management office has the time to send out super cute notes about how you need to pick up after your dogs or they will charge you $100, when they already charge a 1 bedroom about $85 a month for âCAM feesâ.
Yet they canât take the time to figure out why multiple residents call to complain about 1 neighbor.
The constant head aches from the arguing, bass, and high prices hey charge is not worth it.
If you just turned 18 years old and you have 5-6 other roommates youâd like to shove into a 1 bedroom apartment to party, youâve found your new home clearly.
And hey, they are also okay if you are smoking in the apartment because the previous residents below me used to hot box my apartment daily for 4 months before they left.
Welcome home.
