Now that my family is finally out of this place, I can explain why I would strongly advise others not to live here.
To start, it is extremely overpriced for what you get. The building we lived in was in very poor condition. Multiple steps were cracked or missing pieces, and our balcony had a noticeable hole around the support. The appliances were outdatedâthe dishwasher and refrigerator were older than I am. When the fridge broke, it took over a day for any response, which ended up costing my family hundreds of dollars, and there was little sense of urgency or concern from management. The bathrooms and plumbing were also in poor condition.
Management did not come across as concerned about tenantsâonly about profit. They would not turn on the swamp coolers until outdoor temperatures met their threshold, regardless of how hot it became inside. There were multiple times our apartment exceeded 85 degrees, and nothing was addressed until I mentioned contacting the health department.
Beyond the condition of the units and management response, the overall environment was also a concern. During our time there, we witnessed frequent disturbances, including fights, suspected break-ins, and repeated package theft. These experiences made it difficult to feel comfortable or secure. On to many occasions did my family feel more like cash than people.
My family strongly recommends looking elsewhere if you have the option.
